Help to price up Specialized Allez sport

A friend's selling an 03 Allez Sport with Shimano 105 wheels that was used for 6 months then stored indoors. (ie very good condition).

I've no idea what it's worth.....?????

Can anyone help give a rough guide? Does £200 sound about right?

That probably is reasonable.

Even if it's in great condition it's a 5 year old bike now and new they're only about £700 - and the new frame and groupset is bound to be a whole lot better.

What size is it out of interest?

See what reaction you get if you offer £150, what are the rest of the components? is it 105 throughout? If it is then providing the frame is OK no splits or not too many stone chips, then I'd go to £200, but no more.

Apologies for not thanking you for the replies - have been away from the computer for a while.

The deal was done for £200 in the end - It was a deal between 2 of my mates so I was quite impartial. The bike's mint and both parties are happy.
