The nylon thread on one of the BOA units on my fizik has become separated. I visited the fizik website to buy a replacement kit (L12) but was informed that they don't deliver to my location (Channel Islands) - so whilst I figure out a way of getting hold of the replacement kit - does anyone have any suggestions on how I can use the broken cycle shoe in the meantime? I'd appreciate some serious suggestions amongst the not so serious ones. I also attach images of the shoe.

Thanks

Do you know anyone on mainland UK who could accept the delivery & forward it on to you? 🤔

Contact BOA direct, they will send you a new kit to fix it.

A big thanks to everyone who's contributed to my call for help. By way of an update, I have followed the advice of @fossyant and @Domus, and contacted BOA directly - uploaded images, answered a few questions and hey presto - a replacement Li2 kit is on it's way - I hope 🤞 Will let you know...

Awesome. None of mine have broke yet, but they are very comfy dialled up.

The system seems to have started in cycling shoes, but is moving onto other sports shoes. It's a 'slick' lace system (i.e. none of the high friction of laces, so a better fit).
