Hemel Hempstead to Southend & back route advice

I fancy the Brighton one first. @toptom fancy it? I'll find out from the Mrs what weekends she's off in June when she gets in later and go from there

I'm not free this weekend or next weekend but 22nd is free and I'll be looking for somewhere to go!!

The Southend Ride is as planned above. Meet the guys some where in Essex/

The Brighton plan we cooked up was to meet the Herts guys in Croydon, a fast as we can blast down the A23, Via cuckfield and the cycle pasth to Brighton, back via Devils Dyke, A23 to Croydon.

Happy for either. The 21st/22nd is the only free weekend I have though as I'm on call the previous week and the following week.

Hand was ok doing 50 at the weekend, twinged if I got out of the saddle but otherwise ok. I'm on the Whitstable ride so that'll test it

Sounds good. I will be back from holiday for the the weekend of the Sunday 22nd so might be pushing it but the Sunday the 29th would be better for me

So plan is, the Herts guys to get train to Euston, cycle the 13 miles to Croydon where we will meet them then on to Brighton.

Will post a new thread for the ride when hear back from Jay, get some others along.
