Hercules low over Cheshire

Its mainly helis we get round here. Apaches a few times a week, Chinooks, occasionally a 'hawk or a Pave Low. We occasionally get Ospreys too, which the Major across the road from me says are rare beasties in the UK.

I saw it/one last week not too far from there. I was working in a village called Burwardsley near Tattenhall just outside Chester when it flew past very low but that was late morning.

I live midway between Coningsby and Scampton, plenty of things to see in the skies around here. Some it seems use the beet factory at the bottom of the road as a turning point.

Well not that rare - there are ten of them based at Mildenhall in Suffolk.

Indeed it is but it's highway drains are bobbins
