Once again it is freezing and there are bound to be threads and new topics about the rubbish weather.

Everyone is going to be putting on their thermals and getting frozen fingers, toes, and anything else that sticks out of your body (no not that).

Icicles on the bike and stalegmites from your nose, thats the way it is going to be from now on.

Aye, but it's a challenge. Looking forward to the first snow, 1 foot deep or more

Tonights challenge - will I get home without it hissing down on me?

Well it is relatively sunny where I am, apart from the odd cloud. It is still f*****g freezing.

I am thinking about writing a letter of complaint to the government about the discomfort that this weather is causing everyone.

I quite like the change to proper winter weather - change of stuff to wear, no chance of sunburn, etc. Bad weather in the winter is much less frustrating than in the Summer!

I've already decided that if it should snow down here, I'm going to have fun and take the MTB to work! There, that should do it, balmy winter for the south east.

This is the time of year that separates men from the boys or 'proper' cyclists from fair weather ones

I must admit that I really enjoy my winter rides. The only real drawback is that outdoor snack stops have to be very short.

The bike racks at work have room but the people leave their locks to rust over winter , stopping you getting your wheel in properly.

The only drawback atm is its the tempertature difference between ride in and ride home.Today i had a base layer, ssjersey, windproof, shorts, leggings . buff + winter gloves and at home time i was back down to just the shorts + ss jersey + thin gloves. So i have to carry extra to get it just right.
