The end of spring makes for a little extra fun on the trails. As the trail floor gets covered with pine needles and leaves it can become a little slicker. So now up the fun a little more by giving us plenty of rain, and the trail floor can get even more slicker. The blanket of wet pine needles and leaves likes to hide the rocks and roots for a new challenge. Now let's add the sun setting earlier to blind me at times, oh ya don't forget the mud and puddles.
You know I'm glad I choose the trail bike instead of the road bike after work today, because I had a blast. You can't get this kind of fun on the road.
