They've got confused over the centuries, but it is spring now. Think about it, the equinoxes is when the sun is midway between the soltices, the soltices is when the sun is midway between the equinoxes.BentMikey said:

Spring starts with the March equinox here. That's on Saturday, and summer will start on the June solstice.
