Inflation in cm since Brexit? Dispute it is the answer.
I have disputed their measurements
They said the 'fee' will sit on my account if unpaid - essentially preventing me from using Hermes again until it's paid - maybe I just look elsewhere then!
At least the parcel seems to be on it's way - not sure how they will prove my parcel measured what they said it did as they have clearly got my parcel mixed up with another, or they are trying it on, which I doubt a company like Hermes would do though

Hermes are a 'gig' firm in the style of Uber and Deliveroo and the drivers are self-employed. Do a search on your nation media outlet of choice and you'll see that they've attracted the attention of HMRC. I think they also had a starring role in a C4 Dispatches episode earlier this year.

I'm waiting for a parcel - yes it's coming by Hermes......... hurry-up-smiley-emoticon.gif

I've always found MyHermes to provide excellent service at a fair price, though I did get caught out once with their penalty charge.

Now I write the weight and measurements on the box, so that they know I know what I'm sending just in case.

so the parcel has now been delivered according to the tracking which is good
they have not replied to my dispute but my account still owes £10 which needs paying before I can send another parcel, not that I have anything to send right now

Pay it, lesson learned, wipe your mouth and walk away.

I sent some wheels by Hermes via https://www.parcel2go.com/ I put in the weight and size in their website and they came up with the price, I selected my Hermes as it was cheap, the parcel wasn't delivered in the time stated, I phoned them they said it was delayed because it was too big ! when it finally arrived it had been battered about a bit, I didn't have to pay any extra but it wasn't easy to find out where the parcel was and why it was delayed, I won't be using them again, UPS are a bit more expensive but seem more professional.

Inertia

I feel like I could... TAKE ON THE WORLD!!
Ive not dealt with hermes, Yodel are the ones I dread when they dome up as the courier. Next day is a waste of time with them, it often comes late and once I had someone elses food parcel deliverd instead of what I ordered.

I had a delivery from them over the Christmas period, to my dads house, whilst I was away. The email said they had "delivered to a secure location" and so I checked with my brother to see if it had arrived. He said no and he went outside and found it plonked on the doorstep. How is that a "secure location"?!

This was 24 hours after they said they had attempted a delivery and yet we were in when they say they had, so it was total rubbish!
