....... and it's still light. It won't be long now before the dark season has finally gone and the evenings become much lighter and warmer so lights will only be needed late at night. But .......... it has been snowing most of the afternoon :becool:. Bugger!

In 16 weeks time we'll all be complaining about the heat wave, how difficult it is to ride in temperatures of 35+, how sticky it is with sun cream on all the time, how much all that extra water on the bike weighs, how late it is before the cool of darkness descends, and looking back on this winter with fond nostalgia.

And then David woke up because his feet were out of the covers and frostbite was imminent....

Looking forward to it so I can go out walking in the evenings again. Walking got me back in the saddle since I had been walking to work, but wanted to get out in the peaks in an evening, so needed to get back from work quicker, but without resorting to the car.

My front lawn is dotted with Snowdrops so spring can't be that far away.
