I think I know the story of the drowned boys you refer to, as I was asked to try to find their grave when I was working for the cemetery.

That's interesting Gary, did you find the grave/graves, the incident happened in the 1960's

Might not be the same one then, the one I refer too was in the 1860's. Unfortunately the early records were lost when the Superintendent of the time was removed due to irregularities in the book keeping and took umbridge and burnt them sad story though. There are some interesting tales to be found in Knottingley though.
