I discovered this forum a couple of weeks ago and have been avidly reading every post since so thought I'd best sign up and say hi. I've never really cycled but got a bike a month back (hybrid) and have learnt so much from the good folk on here since I started reading. So hi to all and I'm proud to be part of your community.

A quick explanation M' Lord, we have been getting spammed by people trying to sell K*tchens recently, and that the word 'Kitch*n is now censored as a result!

Indeed, so if his Lordship was named Kitchener instead of Sprocket, it would be okay, but Lord Kitchen-er wouldn't be!

I reckon @Shaun (forum owner) is messing with the filter in real-time!

I've just experimented with my post and I seem to get away with using the word kitchen whereas I don't get away with bastard so I think Shaun is tweaking the filter based on either how long we have been members or how many posts we have made!

Or I could be wrong!

Perhaps the phantom spammer has given up so the filter has been removed? Or the international body represent wooden kitchen spammers has threatened to take Shaun to court for breaching their human rights!
