Hi all I'm back

Just as I was looking forward to spending the summer getting out and about on the bike I was rushed into hospital with a suspected heart attack which fortunately it wasn't but during the investigations it was found that my aortic heart valve had almost completely stopped working. It was decided that the valve would be replaced while I was already in hospital which meant that I spent just short of four weeks in hospital and I can't put any weight on my arms until the end of August which includes riding my bike.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Get well soon. At least they found out what the problem was and sorted it. Good luck and take care.

GWS, enjoy the summer

Thanks all I had always put my breathlessness down to the aftermath of an operation that I had when I was 12 to remove a narrow section of my Aorta never for one moment thought that the valve itself was faulty. TMN planning is all I can do at the moment I can't even lift my bike up onto the stand to service it.
