It's not what you know, it's who you know...joined here as I have a specific tech question now, but have been a member of several fora over the years as it's an easy way of sharing knowledge.
I cycled everywhere as a kid and then switched to motor bikes in adulthood! My only proper bike use was as part of a commute from the south coast into London - stopped as a*******s kept nicking my cheap bikes! Bought a Specialized MTB in the mid noughties and have been using that on and off since...London to Brighton in 2007 and sponsored Hit the Downs last year. Bought a Boardman road bike a couple of months ago to try and get fit and recover from an ankle injury, just in time for Coronavirus lockdown, so have tried to get out for an hour or so each evening and really enjoyed it - bonus of not having to commute.
