Didn't know what to get, walked into nearest bike shop and came out with this. I have nothing to judge it against, but it seems more than ok to me. Well, until today that is, I bought a set of SKS Chormoplastic mudguards from wiggle, but just found that my forks only have mounting posts on one side

Wiggle are usually very good at taking stuff back.
Get yourself some guards that will fit

If they're only on one side, then I'd guess that you have disc brake mounts, rather than mudguard/rack mounts.

You are probably right, although when I bought the bike the sales guy said "it's got all the mounts you'll ever need".

I never take the word of sales bods, so why did I this time? Over-eager probably.
