Hi i'm Ryan,

I do the majority of my cycling around my home town (awful roads by the way in case anyone is passing through) that's why I prefer to stay off road. My bike isn't great but its good enough for what I use it for, Apollo Mountain Bike from Halfords, hoping to get either a road or hybrid eventually for longer bike rides.

Hi Ryan and :welcome:
Yeah some awful roads everywhere. You have to be so vigilant. It takes away some of the enjoyment of cycle riding.
Just have to make the most of what we've got I suppose.:headshake:

Welcome to the site buddy, I cycle to Bolton quite a bit and the only problem I have is the rubbish drivers who do not have a clue what to do around cyclists ! ...Roads are rubbish to but a mountain bike with slicks helps :-) Good rides out toward Rivvy though

@Ern1e I think its a x26s or something like that.
I've been up to rivington before but I think I missed out on something because everyone says its good?? I was just passing after cycling through adlington back towards middlebrook so I ended up going up to pigeon tower and down st georges road.

Daughter had an x24 and the other senior half of the team has an Apollo Corrola mtb which over the years as had many upgrades since it escaped from the Halfords store at Burnley lol. Ok not the best of BSO's but also not the worst !! happy riding oh and the last time I whent up Rivvy barn the two wheels had an engine in between them.
