HI From Bucks

Hi all

I have been reading for a while but thought I would say hi.

I am from Aylesbury, very overweight but losing it slowly, got on a bike a couple of weeks ago for the first time since I was about 15 (I am nearly 40) and I absolutely loved it.

Proud owner of a traditional ladies bike which is suiting me fine for riding to work and running errands etc. One day, I will have a much better one when weight and finances allow.

I took up cycling again about 18 months ago. I've lost a lot of weight although still have lots more to go!

Many many years ago I was a Priory 1st guide, though I'm not sure if they come under Bucks or Berkshire, and I can remember the county badge for both, presumably as it was on the border so we did lots of activities with groups from both counties and camped at Dorney Wood etc.
