Many thanks, I've just been out. Up a Cornish hill...

I normally run, and am always surprised at the ground you can cover in a short time, however on a bike you really can get some speed up. What freedom! Time for a beer!

Hi and welcome to the forum- there's a few from this neck of the woods- and a great forum it is too!
User name based guessing- Luxulyan? or one of the streets with Lux in it in Liskeard?

Welcome to the site and putting road tyres on an MTB makes it a harder road bike especially the way the roads are deteriorating ! Heading down your way this weekend with the family and my hardtail MTB on the roof hoping to get some early morning rides out before the kids get up !

Hi there, I haven't been on a bike for a few years now. I used to do quite a bit of mountain biking and I still have my mountain bike. It's a hard tail, without rear suspension.
I currently do not have the funds to buy a road bike, so I've just fitted road tyres to my bike, I know this isn't exactly ideal, but its a start in the right direction hopefully!

Welcome to the site. when you do get a roadie if you still love the hills try the withiel valley and around st austell for some fun. the clay trails are also good fun on a MTB, i need to try cardinham woods if you ever feel up for a ride and your this side of the county
