Just got my first bike, nothing special but I'd say a good starter Raleigh r100

In the army and thought I was supper fit but since getting on a bike for the first time properly since I was a kid
I am in clip after just a 10m ride lol.

Love the speed and being able to keep up with cars in built up areas
Be able to go places quickly and whenever I like.

Looking forward to getting into riding a lot more and learning new things.

I know what you mean about the traffic thing, i really enjoy riding through london, not just as a commute but for fun, the feeling of being the fastest thing on the road is awesome.

Darlington's definitely in County Durham! Cracking cycling round here too - you'll have a blast. You down in Catterick? Not that much traffic round there (though I reckon I could keep up with the tanks). Plenty of hills, mind.

Yes based Catterick but now live Darlington done 26 miles in total today in 1h 19mins just downloaded the strava app on iPhone and had to go out for a second ride to try it out highly recommend it
