Hi All,
Like a lot of you, I have decided to get back into cycling having bought my Wife and Daughter new bikes a few weeks ago, I thought I should do something as well.
I have a couple of mountain bikes that have not been used for a while and having spoke to my bro who is a serious biker I managed to pick up a bit of bargain. Guy bought this bike 2 years ago, tried it once round the block then put it in the garage. Just in case it means something to you here are the specs:
I have my own company and a few years ago had a shower built which I am using this week for the first time! It is only 5 miles each way, but I am enjoying it. On road most of the way at the moment, but may go over to the Army's tank tracks when I feel a bit fitter!
Having just found 'Strava' on this site, I am looking forward to seeing my improvement.
In my youth I was a serious sportsperson and represented the RAF at boxing, swimming, water polo and athletics. Even being picked - but did not go - for the olympic boxing team. But that was a very long time ago. Seriously unfit at the moment and trying to do something about it!
Looking forward to going over the site and learning more!
Best regards
Chris
PS I only used my handle G2EWS as a lot of people know me by that on other forums! - It is the registration of my RV!
