Been lurking around for a while, and got some great info on commuting and what road bike to buy.

Been commuting and trailing on a slightly ageing but very familiar Merlin Malt 2, but it weighs too much on the commute so just taken delivery of the ubiquitous... Triban 3! Hoping to make a start on a road biking habit, but couldn't bring myself to spend a fortune on an expensive bike because I didn't know what I really wanted/needed so decided to start at the bottom and work up. Nice bike, not so hot on the setup!

But first ride up and down the street - it's like a dream machine compared to the MTB. I think I'll be out tomorrow...
