Hi from Hove!

Hi All,

Have been nosing around here from time to time & thought it was about time I joined.

My main reason for cycling is to commute, it's a 5 mile ride each way but about 50% is hills so I feel it's a great deal longer

Hi Russ
I started commuting last July and have become hooked on this cycling lark... mainly thanks to CC! My trip is a similar distance at 11 miles in total. I have taken to extending my ride home by another 5.5 miles if the weather is nice though.

Hello Russ...where does your commute take you? Which hills?

I'm in Hangleton & work near Lewes Road Sainsburys, so Hove Park, Old Shoreham road, New England ROAd, Viaduct Road & Upper Lewes Road.

The first couple of miles is downhill as is New England Road, but after a days work I despise New England Hill & the last 2 Miles home!

Not since I was at Hanover Terrace at college! Bear Road is another I will be avoiding!
