Hi from the rainy west of Ireland. I usually go out with the local club on a sunday and recently have tried my hand at a couple of days a week commuting although I didnt pick the best time of the year to begin.Ive arrived here after watching gaz and his silly cyclists and it seems that everyone hangs out here so I thought id join the fun.

Hi roadrider and welcome to the forum, how far is the commute that you've just started riding and are you doing five days a week or breaking in more gently!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

12 miles and decided to try 2 days a week and the club run on sundays.Its not the city so when i drive i get up at 5.30 but to cycle its a 4.30am start.Its tough to motivate yourself out of the bed at 4.30 on a dark winters night so i thought do what u can sustain and still enjoy and take it from there.
