I've just signed up. Pleased to find you!
I've been living in London for just over a decade and reckon the time I've spent here without a bicycle would add up to a matter of 2-3 months. I can't imagine living here without one. It beats any other mode of transport hands down, even when it's raining
But at the moment I'm adding another month or so onto that total, as I'm out of action following a crash (cracked leg bone) and my bike is all bent up. I want to be back on the roads as soon as I'm fit to!
...Although having the opportunity to see every bud on every tree has been nice, I miss that smooth gliding feeling with the scenery whipping by....
