Hi all, like many looking to get back into cycling after a few years out of the saddle. Typically it's taken me all summer to get round to it and just as the bad weather arrives I'll be getting my bike!
Anyway hope to gain lots of useful info from you all.
Cheers

Hi Magpie21 and :welcome:.

You'll be fine, there's plenty of good riding time before the winter weather closes in. Layers are the key when it starts to get cooler, but hopefully you won't want those for a while yet.

What bike are you going for?

Hi Magpie, I'm in Oxfordshire too, some wonderful rides round South of the county, don't worry about the weather, I'm not planning to stop for the winter, though it may mean I have to plan my rides earlier in the day. Hope you enjoy your new bike! Be warned though, riding can rapidly become seriously addictive!

Nearby fellow Newbie, hi.
Don't let a bit of wet or windy stuff keep you off the bike......

....or are you not that keen in the first place to get on it?

Skin's waterproof y'know :cycle:

I'm in the same boat (or should I say cycle!!).

Just got my first road bike in time for the bad weather - hey ho, it's only a bit of cold and rain
