Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Now I have been here a few days and have barged in on other peoples conversations, and had taken part in the three word story, it's about time I introduced myself. I live in powys but don't come from here. I moved here about 12 years ago and my son and daughter followed me here from Birmingham. I bought my hybrid bike from halfords last week an apollo etienne. I am still waiting for my helmet to arrive, probably on wednesday, then I will attempt to huff and puff my way along the road for a couple of miles or until my bum and or legs give out. Everyone here so far har been very nice and gracious, and no question seems to stupid to the regulars. I am glad I found this site and look forward to gettingmto know everyone.

Hello thank you for your kind words of encouragement. yes I have managed to go out, on Thursday and friday. Today I just spent 20 minutes going up and down the lane where I live. Too many caravans out today. I live in a popular tourist area, especially for people from Birmingham. The kids go back to school next week and everyone is going away for one last weekend. I know how people from brum drive so, I am staying well away from the roads.

I used to live in Birmingham and worked in the city centre. You take your life in your hands when you go into the city.

Hi and :welcome:
Take it steady for a while and don't try to do too much. Give yourself a day off now and again to give your body time to recover from this new assault.^_^
Happy biking.
