We haven't as yet but that's not to say we couldn't - @sazzaa was looking for rides in the North East and @snorri is from a bit further north and has unrivalled knowledge!

It certainly is, and the hills are easier than in many parts of the UK (such as Cumbria, where I'm from originally, and where we've just been)

Good idea in the summer , maybe a bit less appealing in the winter.
