Yea, some excellent routes in there, as in the first two books as well.

It certainly is, and the hills are easier than in many parts of the UK (such as Cumbria, where I'm from originally, and where we've just been)

The Lakes are my favourite place to be in the UK. Simply love it there, but spent a couple of weeks up your way in 2011 and loved the Cairngorms and surrounding areas

I know what you mean. This time of year West Cumbria (Ennerdale, Buttermere and the places between Park and coast ) is lovely, and staying there would be very appealing. Rather less so in summer though, and I can only celebrate my good fortune in being able to live where I do. Great place to cycle, on or off road, and easy enough hills even for my oldish legs on a fixed.

Good idea in the summer , maybe a bit less appealing in the winter.

Winter means going that way to snowboard instead!
