hi from the essex coast!!

Hi everyone, used to cycle years ago but gave it up when I found a bike with an engine! Some 25 years later looked in a mirror to see this tub of lard looking back at me so thought I'd do something about it, took up running but after a year or so got fed up with the injuries and the pain so bought a mtb. Few months later did the Tour of Tendring on it (60 miles) and decided I'd got the wrong bike! Now have a Specialized Allez Sport which I love and have done more organised rides, 2 60 milers, a 75 and a 100 miler plus normal training and a little bit of running. I have now signed up to do London to Paris with Action Medical Research.
