Hello to all,

Newbie cyclist from west Wales, recently brought a carrera tdf only 6 weeks back. Great bike overall, just need new clipless pedals and shoes and of course upgrade the tyres to gaitorskins then ill be all good. Lots of hills here which I'm aiming to conquer and get a few strava KOMS along the way. Little way to go yet mind. Decided to do the Pembrokeshire 100 miler next April as I'd like something to work towards. Can't believe I haven't started biking sooner as it's a great and addictive sport. Think ill stick with the carrera for a year or two then if I'm still happy cycling and well into it, I'll probably upgrade bikes. Any advice & tips you guys fancy throwing my way would be greatly appreciated

Hi and :welcome:
Great stuff that you've started cycling.
A good target to work towards and plenty of time to get yourself ready.
I wish you and your bike well.
Enjoy.
