Evening all. Recovering cyclist from Surrey, currently laid up following a hefty double dose of rhabdomyoylsis resulting in rather a lot of muscle loss in the legs. Bikes hung up for at least another week or 2, so spending lots of time 'virtual' cycling through the forums, and this looks a nice enough place.
When fit enough, I enjoy any cycling, most of it in the past has been off road, but thought I'd try a road machine this year, only managed 200 miles on it before things went awry so here's looking for the indian summer..

That's a rather nasty condition. Your post seems to imply that you are recovering which is good news

Thanks, currently recovering from the 2nd bout so at least the recovery process is familiar, just need to pin down the cause..

Appreciate the welcome folks, and good wishes. I also had to look this one up after being diagnosed and certainly wouldn't ever wish it on anyone. Reckon the bikes grounded for 2 more weeks, though SWMBO holds the keys so may be longer

Well, we seem to be losing the nice weather for a bit, but with luck it'll all have settled back down again by the time you're ready.
