Just got my first road bike today. Went for the btwin triban 5. Seems pretty good for the money and my ability.
Also bought a bkool turbo trainer, which is great with the online sim.

Welcome along. Bloody good bikes the Triban's. I got myself a 500 SE as a rough weather / station bike, a while back. That is doing it a massive injustice. I really like it.
