Have you considered getting a more traditional road bike, rather than a hybrid?

As I understand the Rapid is pretty much a road bike with different shaped bars. I have a feeling that if you do get a hybrid and enjoy using it, there is a strong chance you will want a drop bar road bike in the not too distant future. Might be worthwhile considering and saving a change.

Us Ipswich folk and CCers as a whole, are a friendly bunch, so do feel free to ask any questions / benefit from our mistakes
