Hi all.

Dave from Coventry.

Thought I better say hello, new to the site.

Bought a bike on the cycle to work scheme just over a year ago & was surprised to find I really enjoy cycling.

The bike was initially bought to get to work on, now also used whenever I get the chance. Don’t do any long distance cycling.

Currently riding a Scott p6 sportster, which is great for what I need.

Thanks for all the replies – I’m enjoying the forum.

Yes the C2W scheme is great. Without it I would never have been able to afford the bike I have.

My local bike shop was brilliant as well. They gave me lots of advice & options on the right bike for me.

Sadly my employer has suspended the C2W scheme, they tell me this is temporary. As usual with any work place there are rumours that the scheme will not return.

As soon as it does start back up again I am looking to get another bike.

Employer has re-instated C2W scheme .

Off down the local bike shop tomorrow - question is do I get a road bike ?

Will wait an see.
