Hi,
I wanted to say hi and introduce myself.
I've been cycling (commuter) for about a year now (10 miles a day, 5 each way) and I'm steadily getting into it more and more.
At first it was just a way to get into work, but I started to really enjoy it and have slowly got more involved, occasionally riding on my days off too.
When I first picked up my bike, a friend of mine, who is a keen weekend cyclist told me that if wont be long before I would be wearing lycra and spending loads of money on "bits". I completed dismissed that and laughed it off. A year later I am in lyrca (much to my girlfriends amusement on many a day) and finding myself recreationally shopping in Evans, Decathlon and online cycle stores!
I thought it was time I joined a forum as most of my online answers have been found using forums of other peoples threads. I reckon the forums are the best source of info and there's so much knowledge out there.
So hopefully nobody will mind me picking their brains once in a while (especially as some of my thoughts can be somewhat pedestrian)!
Thanks
Jay
