Hill climbing competition in Ramsbottom

so, anyone entered or coming to watch?

I tried to get my bike up Rawson's Rake, the road that forms the upper part of the course but failed, might have to try on the mountain bike sometime which could persuade me that after 6 years it's time to fit some gears to it!

I'm coming to watch - my friend has entered and is first off so we'll be there nice and early. This will be the third time I've been and it's a great day. I literally have tears in my eyes watching some of them get to the top, especially the kids. I cycle to the top from the other side and that's hard enough!

I might be heading out to watch after training! It is the National Hill Climb Championship is you are not aware of the actual competition.
