Brompton was my first thought too, but that's just because I own one and am familiar with its low step over. But it seems a bit extreme to go for one just for its step thru if the ability to fold isn't a requirement.

Sounds like a job for a classic Dutch bike - one of those with a low curved top tube. Comfortable, stable, step thru able.

At the risk of derailing the thread slightly (sorry @Waterbunny247 ), I realised I didn’t have an up to date photo of my Raleigh when I posted yesterday.

You can always post pictures in the "show us your Raleigh" thread in the Photo Gallery section. Plenty of Nottingham's finest over there, still being appreciated and kept on the road. It's almost 20 years ago now that Raleigh built their final frames in the UK.
