I've switched over to bio-gas at home. It comes from pigs' bottoms via an anaerobic digester. How do I know those pigs weren't factory farmed? It's definitely not vegan.

Pigs will eat anything though.

I suppose it depends how hard core you go with veganism. I know some who'd consider it a by product and wouldn't use it; but on the other side it's 100% sustainable and unless the pigs are being fed laxatives I don't see an issue.

I'd like to know how he's certain it's not vegan. How has he tested it, does a carnivore produce different waste gases to a vegan?
