I've switched over to bio-gas at home. It comes from pigs' bottoms via an anaerobic digester. How do I know those pigs weren't factory farmed? It's definitely not vegan.

I suppose it depends how hard core you go with veganism. I know some who'd consider it a by product and wouldn't use it; but on the other side it's 100% sustainable and unless the pigs are being fed laxatives I don't see an issue.

Indeed they do.
A carnivores gas it strong and powerful, meaty even. A vegetarians gas is sickly and weak, often with a faint green tinge, and liable to be contaminated with runny solids.
