In a previous life I drove a TK Bedford artic unit, delivering to a chain of minor / local supermarkets - Londis - That kind of thing.It was a fair while ago, but I do remember it being a lumbering great thing. With livestock on board our progress was very stately indeed, with a massive amount of forward planning and anticipation so as not to be doing any sharp braking, and where possible we always parked up by driving in a large circle at the showground rather than trying to reverse .
