Waiting for the great leap forward

- The middle bit
On the way home on Friday night I was riding down a hill into a right hand bend with a smaller road joining from the left. A car coming up the hill didn't even brake , I realised what was about to happen and braked hard and turned hard left. I skidded into the drivers door but remained upright. The driver pulled up further up the road then drove off. Was a bit shaken up at the time but thought I'd let it go as he was an old fella etc etc. anyway this morning I can hardly walk so I'm guessing I've twisted something, I've also got a golf ball sized swelling on my shin from where my left SPD jammed into my leg as I tried to keep myself upright.
So my question ; is it now too late to report this to the police ? The more I think about it the more I reckon that if you can drive a car straight at somebody without noticing a set of Ay Ups you really shouldn't be on the roads.
