Just done this route today & one of the pathways is impassible due to coastal erosion. The road is closed to cars, but there was a sign saying open to cyclists 
About 1/4 mile or so of the track has had tarmac removed & some sections of the remaining track have dropped by over 12". It's the section by Tunstall, so anyone doing this route will need to head west (inland) when you get to Tunstall village & then take your first right turn & this will lead you back onto the route.
