But there is a new long section between Peurto Pollenca and Sa Collabra. It is so nice you want to lick the tarmac.

Went last March, stayed in town of Campanet.
Cafe at top of Col Sa Balatta is great

Another great route is to continue to Puig Major & have lunch in Soller & head back via Bunyola & Col d'Hono.

A short up to the minute bit of news:
1. The cafés at Cap Formentor, Formentor beach, the top of Col de Sa Batalla and the top of Sa Calobra are still closed - be open in a couple of weeks.
2. The A number of the pro teams are out here at the moment, Sir Bradley however seems to be training on his own, well with one of the Sky team Jags in attendance.
3. The 3 day Challenge Mallorca pro race kicks of the season on the 29th Jan.
4. Weather has been great for January, blue skies with a 19 degree max.

I wouldnt touch the place on a bike in August..its traffic madness - its mayhem. My advice would be to 'drive 'up to Cap Formentor and then ask yourself if your happy to compete with the traffic...
