If you liked “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” read some of Jo Nesbo’s.
Another Scandinavian crime author – but do read them in order, as there is an ongoing story through the various books, not just the specific crime dealt with in that particular book.

Thanks (and to the other poster earlier on for the same recommendation).

I'm a bit annoyed that the first two in the 'series' or whatever aren't available in English though!

Well, I read Mr. Nice some time ago and really enjoyed reading it, now having seen your post I've immediately gone to Kindle and it is now downloaded and ready for reading in the future.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr Nice was quite a yarn but utterly unbelievable in places. Best read as 'based on a true story' IMO.

If he was that deep into dope smuggling and talking to Colombian cartels, how did he manage to stay away from the harder stuff? And how did he avoid the violence that would appear to be pretty much necessary to make money in the drugs trade? I went to seem him do a talk and again he told a good tale, but when I was stood next to him at the bar he behaved like a pr1ck. Sort of put me off him a bit.
