I have a new Tiagra Hollowtech BB to install, but it doesn't include any spacers- it's just in two parts. Should some have been included? I'm fitting a compact double chainset.

You might, you might not :bicycle:

It depends on the width of the BB shell, and the distance between the assembled BB. measure the BB-shell width. Measure the distance between the internal faces of the BB when its got the plastic tube between it. They should eb the same..

i need one on the drive side of two of my road bikes and none on the other bike, so its a bit hit and miss i reckon. It depends on the bike

If it's any help my cups are fitted to an English bottom bracket and a tiagra double chainset- no spacers used -think this is the standard set-up on all arrangements of this kind-I have two bikes like that.
