I wanted to find a way to easily mount an old phone on my stem. I thought my solution might interest other members hence this thread.
I had an old Aldi computer that stopped working so I had fun braking it apart. I needed this part for a 1/4 turn mounting:
It was a bit to chunky so I took off about 5 mm
The part on the left I glued to the back of the phone.
I used a bit of double tape to secure the mounting on the stem:
Then mount the phone with a single 1/4 turn
And that's all there is to it really.
Total cost, under a fiver.
