Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
I'm heading off to Hong Kong next month for a few days. It's for 3 graduations and an event between the 14th and 16th of November.

Rather than just sit around at other times I'm wanting to get out and about, although time of day may be an issue.

Have we any HK-based CC members?

Or are there active bike hire shops, preferably on the island? I'll be around Causeway Bay and Kowloon.

Finally decent routes would be useful!

Maybe these guys can help. There's info on their website on hire places. Plenty of other google hits too on Hk cycling stuff

You might find there are guided tours for example too

Lonely planet/rough guide usually have info on cycling in the location of interest

When I was out there a few years ago, I tagged along with a walking group

Not two wheels, but you get to see some really good countryside with decent company.
They set a good pace and the walks are generally quite long and I think they're on a Sunday. Generally, they meet at a bus / rail station and a beer or two afterwards.
