thats after spending ages on the phone to NHS direct to get an out of hours doctors appointment at the local clinic , kid has a temperature, complains of stomach ache,kidney ache ,ongoing problems with protien + blood in urine,small for his age ,tiredness ........No bike ride today .

You can gather even though i am off work this week i go back for a rest , wife is not to brilliant what withher ongoing health problems , hey i know no one dieing and i have the deepest sympathies for those going through it as my dad died a few years ago from agressive cancer.Still it grinds you down .

Spent the morning riding 1/2 of a sportive.

Spent the afternoon in A&E with my wife after she had a clipless moment and somehow managed to break her leg in 2 places, on the return leg of said sportive

Suspect I will be spending large chunks of the next few days somewhere in transit between Holmfirth and Chester.....
