Horrible Tab Thing when on CC

MS Edge browser.

Whenever I click into a thread I get a secondary tab appearing below the main tab - about twice the width of the main tab.

Won't go away and it obscures my back/forward buttons.

Remains visible when I click on other tabs too.

Anyone know what is causing this please?

Let me know if I am being thick - I'm old enough to handle it.

I got a Windows 10 update today and an extra tab has appeared above the normal tab stretching full length of the screen on internet explorer.

Edge was released with dodgy tab implementation and as far as I'm aware it hasn't been fixed/improved (along with many other issues).

Microsoft should really just give up trying to make decent web browsers.

I'd just use Chrome.
Explorer is more pants than me in my undies, and Edge isn't a lot better. Although I liked its early work with U2.
