Mmm.....this weather is starting to get on my nerves now, just done three 12 hr shifts and was looking forward to
Increasing my mileage from 16.5 to around 20 today, but guess what it's raining and blowing a gale again, I'm off for 4 days now so just hope it improves for some of those days at least.
Some good news though, just recieved a letter from work asking me to join the cycle scheme again, now I've got the bike , end of feb ( bought it myself ), Soooo.....! Now I can spend the money on other kit, Errrm....what do I need ?......
First off, a turbo trainer, for days like these, then maybe, some summer, autumn, winter kit, erm..... Oh yes..
Maybe some clip less pedals and some shoes to start me on that journey, decent set of lights, new helmet.
Oh we'll, the thought of that has cheered me up slightly.
That's all for now, the giro starts at 1.30.
Thanks tony.

Afraid it really gets to me too and I think it always will. Not so much the rain but definitely the wind. I just get totally demoralised pushing into a headwind and feeling like I am getting nowhere, plus the fact that it seems to hurt my back, so going to have to disagree and say I will never get used to it.
