It just takes the piss....ok people say it is harmless but then these same people will tiptoe round the mountains of turd blocking the path.

Or horse riders should get a bike.

My worst cycling accident was caused by a massive pile of horse shoot in the middle of a shared use cyclelane/footpath, which forced me to the edge and onto the manky black slimy crap that masked the edge of the tarmac & the verge. Front wheel skidded out, landed on head & right shoulder, scuffed some windstopper bib tights and put a couple of holes into a windstopper jacket. Practically ouside a local stable. Hmmm, wonder where it came from then??

Ahhh Lisa you make me smile with your posts

I used to ride (horses) and I don't really have much of an opinion on it, except come on it aint the worst problem on the road ;) ... I only cycle now though so it doesn't matter.

Hope you were happy today by the way Montage.

Manure makes em grow lovely!!!

Seriously though if it were practical I would, as I always pick up after my dog and on shared use paths when my horse has taken a dump I have been known to hop off and kick it into the hedge out of the way, but believe it or not most horses have a perfect art of pooing without even breaking stride and its not always easy to tell when they are doing poos:wacko:

Kovu... Thankyoo!!;)

Joe you have the right attitude-use it as a roundabout and you'll not go far wrong;)

I am allways happy. But didnt get any results. Retaking the year and all that. combined with a stupid "lets take AS exams in january 2010" idea. You do ok?

Surely when you are in a horse version of pace line somebody should shout "bombs away"

Or just tie a bucket to its tail.

Appreciate you make effort to kick it out the way ;) Far more than most.
